1.8 KiB

  1. develop 'high-level' programs for the sensor project
    1. What does high-level mean in this context? Low-code, or high complexity?
  2. Handle data-pipeline from receival of sensor-data (MQTT) to storage, processing and visualization
    1. Guessing:
      1. golang process (using paho) receives data through MQTT and uploads it to influx db database, also probably contextualizes by writing something to mariaDB?
    2. I am familiar and keep pretty up-to-date with golang
      1. I have written my tmux session manager in it.
      2. I have written my own application launcher / dmenu replacement which I use on my macbooks.
  3. Develop and maintain frontend- and backend-solutions, including use of Docker Compose.
    1. I made a small wordle clone application using react native
    2. I have worked on backend services that contextualize and read data. Manipulating data on databases such as relational and time-series data.
    3. I use docker compose on my rasperry pi server to run a gitea (github clone), minecraft server, foundry (vtt).
  4. Set up and maintain servers, both internal and external.
    1. Have a home server on a raspberry pi 5 running my github. Uses caddy handle certificates and redirecting to multiple websites on the same server.
  5. Maintain security in solutions, for exmaple through OAuth2 and secure data-transportation.
    1. Working on an API right now that uses OAuth.
  6. Help development and completion of autumated tests to validate sensor- and server-setup. 1.
  7. Participate in more projects within your area of expertise

Databases

InfluxDB is a timeseries database MariaDB is a relational database

Have worked with similar data through Cognite Data Fusion, but not those specific databases.
